About Us
Roselea Productions was founded in February 2021 by husband and wife Richard and Megan. As professional musicians, they have performed at and produced music for an array of events.
Megan Kingon
British violinist, Megan Kingon (née Collis) completed her musical studies at the Royal Northern College of Music, United Kingdom, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Music (Hons), Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music and a Master of Music in Performance.
She has been a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral player for over 10 years and her notable performances include performing at the Wigmore Hall, St Martin in the Fields, Royal Festival Hall, Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte (Italy) and the Mantova Chamber Music Festival (Italy).
An avid orchestral player, she has also performed with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Manchester Camerata, Johannesburg Festival Orchestra, Richard Cock’s Co Phoenix Orchestra as well as the recently formed Mzanzi National Philharmonic Orchestra.
Megan is currently the Head of Music at Waterkloof House Preparatory School in Pretoria, South Africa.
Richard Kingon
South African trumpeter, Richard Kingon completed his bachelor of music degree (Hons) at the University of Pretoria with a focus on Performance as well as Sound engineering. He went on to complete his Master of Music in Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music in the United Kingdom.
Richard is a freelance trumpet player for orchestras and bands throughout South Africa. He is a member of the Johannesburg Philharmonic and also works with Kwazulu- Natal Philharmonic, Johannesburg Festival Orchestra, Richard Cock's Phoenix Orchestra as well as the recently formed Mzanzi National Philharmonic Orchestra.
Richard is the trumpet lecturer at the University of Pretoria, University of the Witswatersrand (WITS) as well as being the Senior Trumpet teacher at Pretoria Boys High School and Brass teacher and Music Specialist at St Stithians College.
